[BODE] A menswear brand by Emily Adams Bode, a female designer based in Manhattan, New York. BODE transforms a wide variety of vintage and unique textiles into classic, eye-catching workwear silhouettes. Emily, who holds a dual degree in Philosophy and Menswear Design, founded her brand in 2016 and within a year became the first female menswear designer to present a collection at New York Fashion Week Men\'s. While still in school, Emily honed her skills in locating and processing rare, historic fabrics from around the world, eventually moving into tailoring. Her collections are made with love, each piece crafted from a variety of fabrics, including tablecloths made over 100 years ago, burlap sacks, Victorian-style bedsheets, and antique quilts. Emily\'s love for these historic patterns and fabrics stems from childhood vacations she spent in Massachusetts and Atlanta.
